Export to Denmark
If you are exporting cattle, semen or embryos to Denmark you have to be avare of the rules for registration of cattle imported to Denmark. In order to have the cattle or progeny registered in the Danish Herdbook we need following information for registration:
Sires or semen
* An official export certificate - pedigree
* A DNA and blood group certificate of the sire with a verified parentage (parentage qualifies, which means DNA test on the dam and the sire of the sire/semen) (Filiation compatible)
Female animals
* An official export certificate
* A DNA and blood group certificate of the sire to the female
If the female is pregnant, we need following of the service sire for registration of the calf:
Service Sire
* An official certificate of the service sire
* A DNA and blood group certificate of the service sire with a verified parentage, which means DNA test on the dam and the sire of the service sire (parentage qualifies)
Embryos
* An official export certificate of both dam and sire to the embryos
* A DNA and blood group certificate of the sire with a verified parentage, which means DNA test on the dam and the sire of the embryos (parentage qualifies)
* A DNA and blood group certificate of the dam, preferred sire qualified
* A certificate of embryo recovery
